Improv for Dance Enthusiasts (IDE)

Improv for Dance Enthusiasts educational formats support the development of personal, social, and cultural awareness competencies, which manifest through teaching/learning within inclusive, diverse, and safer spaces. We stand for inclusivity and transparency towards our participants and create an open learning environment for both beginners and experienced dance enthusiasts to share the passion for dance.

The collective consists of five foreign artists living and working in Iceland: Janosch Bela Kratz, Linde Hanna Rongen, Magdalena Tworek, Meeri Susanna Mäkinen, and Yelena Arakelow. Together they manage, organise and facilitate the local and international projects of Dance Enthusiasts.

Our projects are financially supported by Erasmus+, Dansverkstæðið, and the city of Reykjavik.
